UK: Investment and development company Eurofund Group has launched Tribu, its first coliving concept.
Tribu, located in Kingston-upon-Thames, south-west London, features 63 studio apartments, coworking space, a rooftop, a cinema, communal kitchen and dining areas.
The development is “fully equipped with integrated technology”, with the Tribu App providing access to in-house services including digital keys. The Tribu App also acts as a social network for housemates to participate in social activities, events, and group workshops. Other smart technology will include integrated sensors throughout the property providing data on occupancy and usage of rooms and energy monitoring.
Dan Sandford, CEO of Tribu, said: “Tribu is a cutting-edge concept that provides a very interesting counterpoint to the current housing model for both students and professionals. Our goal is to bring together communities of like-minded people, while offering the highest degree of personalisation and exceptional attention to detail.”
Eurofund Group is an investment and development company operating in Spain, Portugal, UK and Italy. The group includes Eurofund Retail, Eurofund Logistics (ELCP), a Living division that includes Tribu. It is also planning to invest in senior living projects, and The Hood, “an innovative anti-mall concept” that combines street food, leisure, and cultural activities already operating in Lisbon.
