UK: Related Argent has launched Author King’s Cross, a 182-unit BTR scheme at the King’s Cross estate in London.

The company says the scheme provides “design-led apartments, state-of-the-art residents’ amenities and services with landscaped communal spaces and exclusive benefits”.

Delivered in partnership with global investor The Olayan Group, Author King’s Cross is the estate’s only BTR offering and will “set a new benchmark in quality and service, with a dedicated in-house team,” the company says.

Located at 180 York Way, Author King’s Cross comprises three contemporary buildings ranging in height between three and 16 storeys, centred on a landscaped courtyard garden designed by Urban Fabric.

Related Argent has worked with architectural practices David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Haptic to give each building a distinctive style. The homes are a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with many benefiting from a private balcony.

Inspired by boutique hotels, the ground floor amenity space designed by Conran & Partners is described as “an engaging, relaxed space created as a seamless extension to the exceptional homes”.

Amenities include seating booths for home working, a garden kitchen opening onto a courtyard, a fitness centre with a studio room for yoga/meditation and personal training.

There is also a crèche, screening room with popcorn machine, private dining room, and coffee and wine bar, alongside pet-friendly amenities including a pet wash. There is secure bicycle storage and car parking spaces with electric charging.

Tom Goodall, managing director of Related Argent, said: “We are excited to launch Author King’s Cross, our BTR scheme in one of London’s most sought-after locations. We have led the redevelopment and rejuvenation of this area for the last 20 years and it is wonderful to now offer rental homes at King’s Cross.”
