UK: The UK Single-Family Association (UK SFA), a sector specialist non-profit membership organisation, has announced its official launch event on 22nd February and has opened its call for members.
It will host its Official Launch at the LOFT Pop-up Showroom at White City Warehouse, west London, on Thursday 22nd February. Richard Berridge, UK SFA CEO and founder will provide a presentation on the UK SFA’s purpose and direction of travel, which will be followed by keynotes from Savills and Homes England.
The UKSFA is now calling for members. It says any organisation currently involved in the SFR industry, along with those exploring it, will be welcomed as a member. These could include investors, operators, manufacturers, architects and other consultants, construction companies, housebuilders, housing associations, local authorities, specialist contractors, suppliers, legal firms and other professional services.
“After months of planning, preparation and engagement, I’m elated to be able to announce the date for the UK SFA’s formal launch event,” said Berridge. “The UK SFA recognises the distinct benefits and challenges that investing in and operating Single-Family Rental brings, and although this has many synergies with multi-family rental housing, there are also key differences and nuances that are important to understand and unlock. With the sector poised to scale rapidly, there has never been a more pertinent time for those involved in SFR to join forces under one collaborative banner and accelerate positive change to the UK’s housing landscape.”
