UK: Artisan Real Estate has launched St Vincent Studios, a new purpose-built student accommodation development in Glasgow city centre that will provide 321 studio apartments.

The development, which is on St Vincent Street, will open in July 2026 in advance of the new school year. Construction started in November 2024, and Artisan Real Estate is partnering with Housing Growth Partnership and construction firm GRAHAM.

The development offers 321 self-contained studio apartments that are distributed over 14 floors. There are also study lounges, a cinema room, games room, a gym, yoga and dance studio, a dining space and private roof terraces available for students.

The property is located close to several of Glasgow’s universities and colleges and will be operated by Homes for Students under its Prestige Living brand.

Commenting on the launch, David Westwater, managing director for Scotland at Artisan Real Estate, said: “St Vincent Studios is set to significantly raise the bar for Glasgow’s provision of premium purpose-built student accommodation.”

The scheme has been designed to promote student wellbeing too, with communal spaces to promote social interaction and study. Other amenities include 160 bicycle storage, and laundry facilities operated through an app.

Artisan Real Estate said the project will help meet the growing demand for high-quality student housing in Glasgow while bringing a long-vacant city centre site back into use.
