UK: Telford Living is planning to transform a site on International Way, Stratford, into a 749-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA).
The site is located north of Stratford International Station and opposite Westfield Stratford.
Telford Living has exchanged contracts to acquire the site from the Department for Transport (DfT) and HS1 for an undisclosed price.
Plans include a scheme of 749 beds across two buildings, of which 50 per cent will be affordable. The project also includes improving public spaces, amenity spaces and landscaping.
If the planning application is approved, construction will start in 2028 and is expected to complete in 2032.
“Stratford is one of London’s great regeneration success stories and we believe this scheme will make a positive contribution to the area’s next chapter,” said Alex Taylor, senior vice-president and head of Telford Living, the UK residential development arm of Trammell Crow Company (TCC).
