Australia: A $107 million coliving village in West Perth’s Pickle District is expected to open in phases from early next year.

As well as coliving accommodation, the mixed-use scheme will include BTR apartments, a new hotel, a rooftop restaurant and bar and an ALDI supermarket.

At the centre of phase one will be the Radisson Perth Hotel due to officially open at the start of 2027.

In January 2027 UKO Co-Living is due to open, marking UKO’s first opening in Western Australia. UKO Build-to-Rent and ALDI are both expected to open at the end of February, with other confirmed tenants anticipated to move in by March and further openings to follow.

The layout is ‘pedestrian-first’, encouraging people to meander between shops, dining and shared spaces. The precinct is also within Perth’s Free Transit Zone, and connects with the cycle-path network and sits close to the city’s north, south, east and west road routes. Underground parking is also planned.
