UK: Louise Bangee of urbanbubble and Freya Richard of Vertus have been named as co-chairs of the Association For rental Living (ARL) Combined Operations Committee.
The committee’s role will be to share knowledge among operators across the rental living sector, develop best practice and identify areas of focus for the Association for Rental Living.
Louise Bangee of urbanbubble and Freya Richard of Vertus will co-chair the committee, supported by expert members from across the rental living sector. They will build on the outstanding work of the previous Operations Committee, led by Russell Markou of Cortland and Kevin Watson of PLATFORM_.
Initial areas of focus falling within the committee’s remit include salary benchmarking, security and bike theft, Building Safety Act issues, the practical implications of the Renters’ Rights Bill and minimum professional qualification requirements. The Association for Rental Living will establish subcommittees as required to focus on specific issues in greater depth.

I would also like to thank all outgoing Operations Committee members for providing such a strong foundation on which the refreshed committee can build.”
In addition to the co-chairs, committee members will include Olly Canver from Essential Living, Sakina Murtaza of Related Argent, Tom Lord from Greystar, Russell Markou from Cortland and Quintain Living’s Grace Oyesoro. Also on the committee are Knight Dragon’s Jackie Robinson, Kevin Watson from PLATFORM_, Lavina Clarke from Moda and Neelam Saihjpal of VervLife. Further members include Grace Morgan of CompassRock International, Eleanor Fiennes from Packaged Living and Sam Smith from Dandara Living.
