UK: Developer Topland and partner CoLico Living have completed the £25 million Paradise View BTR scheme in Birmingham,
Paradise View features 159 BTR units, made up of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The first residents are expected to move in this month.
The scheme also includes 5,000 square feet of retail space, resident amenity space and a 24-hour gym operated by Anytime Fitness. Amenities include coworking space, a media and TV lounge, a roof terrace and cycle parking for up to 90 bikes.
The site is immediately adjacent to the city’s £700 million Paradise district; the UK’s biggest city centre regeneration scheme outside London, which includes 120,000 square feet of retail space, three new public squares and Grade A offices.
Sol Zakay, chairman and CEO of Topland Group, said: “Paradise View is set to be a real asset for the city of Birmingham, transforming a dormant building into high-quality housing and amenities that perfectly complement the wider £700 million regeneration of Paradise. We’re proud to have played our part in the rejuvenation of this city centre neighbourhood, which will now become one of Birmingham’s most desirable places to live and work. We look forward to seeing it becoming a key asset for Paradise as we continue to support regeneration across the UK as an investor, developer and lender.”
