Escoda takes CEO role at Alma Corp

Spain: Alma Corp, a Madrid-based investor and developer has appointed Carlos Escoda as CEO.

Founded by the Fernández Luengo family more than 30 years ago, Alma Corp has an international presence in three strategic verticals: living & hospitality, beauty & longevity, and mobility.

In living & hospitality, the group operates through its own brands adapted to different formats and markets, including Mi Casa INN, specialised in PBSA (student residences) accommodation, ColivINN, focused on flexliving and coliving solutions; and AmazINN Places, oriented to the short stay and unique accommodations.

The group operates as a hospitality manager operating both its own and third-party assets, generating destination locations through the various lifestyle brands it manages in its portfolio.

Alma Corp has more than a billion euros worth of assets under management in destinations such as Spain, Mexico, Panama and Colombia.

Escoda has more than 20 years of experience in the management and management of companies in the hotel, real estate and services sector. He has held senior roles at companies including Minor Hotels, Hesperia, Meliá Hotels International and Marriott.

Prior to joining Alma Corp, he served as CEO of SmartRental Group, where he promoted the growth and consolidation of the company as a specialised operator in flexible hosting solutions with international projection.
