UK: Fyma and GAA Living partner to bring behavioural data insights to build-to-rent sector.

AI analytics platform Fyma has partnered with living sector advisory firm GAA Living to help build-to-rent operators better understand how residents use amenities and communal spaces.

The partnership will combine GAA Living’s advisory expertise with Fyma’s computer vision technology, which uses existing camera infrastructure to provide data on resident behaviour across shared spaces such as lobbies, amenity areas and communal facilities.

The companies said the collaboration is designed to help operators make more informed decisions around amenity investment, asset performance and resident engagement.

According to Fyma, many residential schemes already have extensive camera coverage in place but limited insight into how amenities are actually being used or which spaces contribute most to resident satisfaction and retention.

The platform analyses activity within buildings and shared spaces to provide operators with data that can support capital allocation, amenity planning and operational decision-making.

Sam Pound-Jones, commercial director at Fyma, said the partnership would help bring behavioural intelligence to living sector portfolios at scale.

Ronak Rawal, senior director at GAA Living, said operators are facing increasing pressure to demonstrate the value of amenity strategies and resident experience investments.

Fyma said its technology is already being used across a number of residential schemes in the UK and Ireland.
