UK: Greystar has launched an interactive 3D model to allow potential tenants to view the full 20-acre Greenford Quay scheme in west London.
The development will eventually consist of more than 2,000 new BTR units, and the online 3D model will allow users to walk around the site and any individual apartment.
Tech firm Intelligent Mobile claims that the technology used in the model has been shown in Europe to increase the conversion rates of online enquiries by 50 per cent. It achieves this by offering a highly immersive and realistic viewing experience, transforming how potential residents engage with new developments – even before construction begins.
Ben Parkinson, director of digital experience at Greystar, said: “Greenford Quay continues to lead the Build To Rent sector by introducing 3D Estate, becoming the first UK residential scheme to offer an immersive, shopping experience utilising this technology. This aligns with our vision to revolutionise property search, making it more engaging, intuitive, and efficient. By offering interactive digital experiences, we aim to transform how people explore and engage to enhance our customer journey. We remain committed to creating innovative, community-led environments that reshape the way people interact with real estate in the digital age.”
Jamie Lovie, managing director at Intelligent Mobile. added: “As the exclusive provider of 3D Estate in the UK, Intelligent Mobile is delighted to partner with Greystar to bring this groundbreaking technology to life at Greenford Quay. Our 3D solution is a true game-changer, offering unparalleled detail and convenience. It perfectly aligns with Greystar’s commitment to innovation and exceptional living experiences.”
