Eloise Hanson, editor of Boutique Hotel News (BHN), takes the newly created position of editor- hospitality, and will oversee both BHN and Serviced Apartment News (SAN) in response to the increased synergies and overlap between the two media brands and their respective audiences.
Paul Stevens, editor of Short-Term Rentalz (STRz), takes the new role of editor – short-term rentals, as he looks to grow the company’s presence in the international vacation rental space across both digital and live platforms.
And George Sell takes the role of editor – living, as he is tasked with growing IHM’s reach in the BTR, PBSA, coliving and later living segments. He will also continue to oversee the editorial department in his role as editor-in-chief.
Sell said: “I’m delighted to announce this restructuring. It is a reflection of trends we are seeing within the sectors we cover, and it also gives us a chance to recognise and reward the excellent progress both Paul and Eloise continue to make in their careers.”
Elsewhere in the business, IHM has appointed Danique van Oort as marketing and event executive. In common with both Hanson and Stevens, van Oort initially joined the company as an intern before going on to secure a full-time role.
IHM CEO Piers Brown said: “Eloise and Paul’s knowledge and commitment to developing IHM’s multi-media approach is phenomenal. Danique is already achieving a lot and I’m delighted she chose IHM to start her career. They all truly deserve their promotions.”
