UK: Property management company Outpost Management has topped out at its 628-unit built-to-rent (BTR) scheme Enclave: Birmingham City, which is now open and operational.Â
The scheme has been delivered by Outpost Management and BlackRock Real Estate, in partnership with The Galliard Apsley Partnership (a joint venture between Galliard Homes and Apsley House Capital).
With its maximum height of 100 metres, Enclave: Birmingham City is a 557,000 square foot residential-led, mixed-use scheme, designed by the London-based architecture firm Corstorphine and Wright.
The development includes 306 one-bedroom, 295 two-bedroom and 27 three-bedroom apartments for rent, with 25,000 square feet of commercial and amenity space across three separate buildings of 27, 12 and eight storeys respectively.
Amenities offered by Enclave include a rooftop garden and lounges, private dining rooms, co-working spaces, and leisure spaces such as a gym, screening room, sports simulation suite, a spa and a dedicated Mahjong room.
Located a short walk from Birmingham’s city centre and New Street Station, the site is immediately adjacent to the 40+ acre Smithfield regeneration area, which is delivering significant public realm and amenity improvements.
Troy Tomasik, CEO of Outpost Management, said: “We’re excited to see Enclave: Birmingham City reach its maximum height and are delighted to welcome our first residents to the newly opened first phase. Birmingham is one of the UK’s most dynamic urban centres, with a vibrant mix of renters. As our first development outside London, we’re proud to bring our high-quality homes and unrivalled amenities to the city, helping to deliver effortless living and equipping residents to be productive, healthy, and happy.”
Eli Dias, CEO of Galliard Homes, said: “Reaching this milestone at Enclave: Birmingham City marks a significant step in the delivery of this major scheme. Galliard has always believed in delivering exceptional homes in thriving, well-connected locations, and this development is a perfect example of that vision in action. The Galliard Apsley Partnership is thrilled to have supported another successful scheme in Birmingham, contributing to the city’s dynamic growth and regeneration.”
