Residents will have access to a fully equipped gym and exercise studios, coworking spaces, a coffee bar, meeting rooms, private and communal dining areas, cinema, video gaming room and on-site laundry facilities. A programme of social events and workshops will encourage connections among residents.

The property offers all-inclusive bills (excluding council tax), fully furnished apartments, and high-speed internet. Tenancies of three, six, nine or 12 months allow residents to choose the arrangements that best suit their lifestyle. The development features 67 rooms available at a discounted market rent.

John Nesbitt, managing director of Habito Co-Living, said: “Guildford Plaza marks an exciting new chapter for us as we expand into the co-living market with our Habito Co-Living brand. We’ve drawn on our extensive experience in student living to create a luxury-living, community-driven environment, designed for those who want flexibility, convenience, and connection. We’re proud to bring this innovative development to Guildford, which is already attracting strong interest from prospective residents across a wide range of life stages.”

Cllr Howard Smith, Mayor of Guildford, added: “It was a pleasure to officially open Guildford Plaza and learn more about the co-living concept at its heart. Guildford is a fantastic place to call home, so I hope everyone who moves into this development will enjoy living in this town as much as I do.”

Guildford Plaza is the first step in Habito Co-Living’s growth plans as it builds on Host’s track record of operating student accommodation across the UK.
