UK: A coliving scheme with 200 rooms and a restaurant in central Kingston, south-west London, has been granted planning consent.
The building will replace Sports Direct and PC World and will be up to nine storeys tall in some areas. It will be operated by Nineyards Kingston, with its architectural design reflecting the nearby Bentalls Centre.
It will be the first co-living scheme in the borough of Kingston.
Room sizes vary between 16.6 and 26 square metres.Residents will have access to a gym and flexible work and events space, as well as a communal kitchen and dining area, and cinema screening room.
Rent will be between £275 a week for a standard unit, going up to £300 a week for larger units for a minimum of three months and will be inclusive of bills.
