Austria: Coliving operator Habyt has announced its entry to the Austrian market and will open a building in Graz in H2 2023.

The new development at Waagner-Biro-Straße, with a total area of 6,600 square meters, hosts 218 units, is located in the Lend district, as part of the new “My Smart City Graz” neighbourhood.

With a mix of two- to four-room fully furnished shared apartments and single bedroom studios, Habyt will offer tenants highly-flexible renting options for mid- to long term stays. The project consists of four buildings, with one building complex being fully-operated by Habyt.

All units have either patios and small backyards on the ground floor, or balconies.

The building will feature nine fully-equipped common areas with working spaces, comfortable seating and large kitchens. Other amenities include exercise rooms, multiple lounges, and a large courtyard, promoting a healthy lifestyle. The concept targets young professionals aged 20 to 35, as well as “digital nomads seeking to be part of an inclusive, like-minded community”.
