UK: Developer HUB has topped out at the Yardhouse coliving scheme at 227 Wood Lane in White City, west London.
Hub has been working with partners Bridges Fund Management and Women’s Pioneer Housing (WPH) on the project. The site has been owned by WPH for 98 years, since 1927, and previously provided 30 studio homes for vulnerable women alongside its head office.
In December 2018 HUB, Bridges and WPH formed a JV partnership to deliver a new-build scheme comprising a new head office for the housing association, alongside 60 new one-bedroom homes for vulnerable women, available at social and intermediate rent.
In addition, HUB is delivering 209 coliving homes on behalf of City Developments Limited, together with extensive shared amenity throughout the building. This will be the first coliving project that HUB and Bridges complete together, with a pipeline of hundreds more coliving homes in London and beyond, either consented or going through the planning process.
Yardhouse is designed by AHMM and is on site with contractor JJ Rhatigan. It is due to practically complete in Autumn 2026.
