UK: BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker have named Rebecca Shafran and Jason Beedell as the new heads of their commercial, residential and rural research teams.
Shafran has been appointed head of commercial research at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Having joined the business in 2019, she has contributed to the business’s expansion research into student accommodation, hotels, healthcare, care homes and retirement living.
Beedell has been appointed head of residential and rural research at Strutt & Parker. He has established a solid reputation for his research into rural property issues, agriculture and land use policy since joining the company in 2016.
Shafran said: “It is a privilege to take on this role at such an important time for the real estate sector. High-quality research and market intelligence have never been more valuable to clients.”
Beedell added: “Research has an increasingly important role to play in helping clients understand the challenges and opportunities shaping the residential and rural property markets. I am delighted to be taking on this position.”
Both appointments take effect immediately. BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker stated that the new management will enable them to build on their existing research teams and deliver market insight and strategic advice across commercial, residential and rural properties.
