Ireland: Ringline Investments has submitted plans to develop purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) apartments on Dublin’s North King Street.

The accommodation will have a total of 1,934 square metres of communal amenity space, which consists of 1,195 square metres of external amenity space and 739 square metres of internal amenity space.

The development will include 361 bedrooms, with a mix of 62 studios, 291 single rooms and eight accessible rooms.

The existing structures on site will be demolished, with the exception of the façade on North King Street and Bow Street, which is a protected structure.

The ground floor level includes a corner retail unit and a central courtyard. The main entrances to the student accommodation scheme are located on North King Street and on Brown Street.

Plans for the seven story building include a library, gym, yoga studio, reception and exhibition space, laundry, games room, office/admin and luggage/parcel store and retail, and a roof terrace.

Ringmore Investments is owned by Adrian Rezmarita, the CEO of Polonez, the largest chain of Eastern European grocery stores in Ireland.
