Torsion secures £30 million loan for Leeds PBSA scheme

UK: Specialist development finance lender Atelier is financing the development of a 205-unit PBSA scheme in Leeds.

A £30.8 million development finance loan has been provided to Torsion Group to develop the scheme on Kirkstall Road. The development will be completed in time for the October 2026 academic year.

Rav Kudhail, lending director at Atelier, said: “We worked closely with the Torsion team to structure an effective facility which will enable them to secure the site and deliver the project. Key to the success in this deal is the trust built up between all the project partners.”
