US: Developer Shea Homes is set to deliver 550 new homes as part of a large-scale housing development aimed at people over the age of 55, in Loveland, Colorado.
The new neighbourhood, called Trilogy, will form part of Kinston—a 625-acre community developed by real estate investment, development, and management firm McWhinney at Centerra, on the northern edge of the Denver metropolitan area.
The project is specifically aimed at active adults aged 55 and over, a demographic that is driving demand in the US for age-tailored housing that combines comfort with community and wellness.
Trilogy will initially deliver 149 homes, with plans to expand further. In addition to housing, the scheme will offer amenities including a wellness centre, fitness studio, pickleball courts, and a resort-style swimming pool.
This will be Shea Homes’ first age-restricted community in Kinston, which already features a mix of duplexes, townhouses, and build-to-rent homes, alongside shared public spaces and a café.
