UK: Danehurst Developments has been granted planning consent for a 155-bed PBSA scheme in Edinburgh.
The plans involve demolishing a warehouse and replacing it with four to six-storey student accommodation on the site of 22, 24-36 Dunedin Street.
The wider surrounding area has a mix of light industrial, office, student accommodation and residential buildings with a range of amenities close by including shops, cafes and restaurants.
“As the historic research demonstrates, the area around the site is in the process of evolving from a predominantly industrial area to a more residential neighbourhood,” the developer said in a statement.
