UK: Property investment agency Harris Associates has launched the sale of Brixton Junction by Node – a coliving asset in Brixton, London.

Brixton Junction features 63 apartments, comprising furnished studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include coworking and lounge facilities and a private resident garden, while a series of curated events are organised throughout the year to forge a sense of community.

The development is situated in the heart of Brixton, which has today become a hub for music, shopping and dining, and offers strong transport connections into Central London.

In partnership with internal marketing agency Harris Studios, Harris Associates has created a video marketing campaign to showcase the Brixton Junction coliving asset and its value for potential investors. It includes an immersive narrated version and the publication of a digitally interactive magazine, described as an “industry first”.

Jenna Harris, head of coliving at Harris Associates and co-founder at Harris Studios, said: “Brixton is the perfect location for people attracted to the unique combination of community, great design and security that co-living offers.

“Residents of Brixton Junction get to enjoy stunning apartments, with great communal areas, an onsite team and the opportunity to connect with other residents at events. They have Brixton on their doorstep, with its extraordinary wealth of restaurants, bars, art galleries and parks just moments away, and central London just a ten-minute tube ride away.

“For investors, Brixton Junction is just as enticing. The building represents a unique opportunity to acquire a fully operational building, which is guaranteed to have a high occupancy rate and NOI.

“A special building deserves a special outreach program, which is why we’ve launched an industry-first editorial, to showcase to would-be-buyers exactly how unique an investment proposition this property is,” she added.

As the coliving asset class continues to achieve traction in the UK, a recent coliving report by Harris Associates revealed that 72 per cent of respondents said that they would stay in coliving for at least a year. In the same report, more than 90 per cent said that they would recommend the asset class to a friend.

London remains a market with a significant shortage of coliving options, however, with reports suggesting that up to 600,000 beds might be needed to meet the current demand.
