US: Flexible living operator Placemakr has opened Scout Living at Ponce City Market in the Old Fourth Ward neighbourhood of Atlanta.
Scout Living, operated by Placemakr, features 405 serviced living units with fully equipped kitchens and separate lounge areas. Apartments are available for stays from one night to a week, a month, or longer.
Amenities include a rooftop pool, wellness studio, terrace and kitchen, while the second floor is available for working, meetings and events.
Guests can check in virtually at anytime with keyless locks, and Scout Living will also provide access to services such as food delivery, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and more.
The property forms part of Ponce City Market, a mixed-use project developed by real estate investment and management firm Jamestown, located in a former Sears catalogue facility. Scout Living has been delivered in the project’s second phase, which also includes a four-storey office building and residential building Signal House.
All three new buildings are targeting net neutral operational carbon, LEEDv4 Core and Shell certification, and Fitwel certification which has already been achieved by Signal House.
Businesses integrated into Ponce City Market include One Medical and Tend Dental, as well as fitness studios CorePower Yoga and Forum Athletic Club.
Connected to Ponce City Market is the Atlanta Beltline – 12,000 square feet of retail with 21-foot ceilings on the ground floor, which will be occupied by Necessary Purveyor, a restaurant and gourmet market.
