UK: A planning application has been submitted for the first PBSA project in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
A joint venture between local developer Lacuna and Watkins Jones plans to build four blocks of between five and nine storeys on a vacant site next to Belfast Metropolitan College. The 385,000 square foot development could accommodate up to 1,200 residents.
Watkin Jones is also developing the nearby Loft Lines scheme, Northern Ireland’s first BTR development. The development will consist of 627 BTR units and 81 social rent affordable homes — located on the riverside on Queen’s Island in the centre of the Titanic Quarter. It is being forward funded by LGIM.
