UK: Flexible workspace operator Runway East is now Bristol city centre’s largest coworking operator with 82,000 square feet of space under management.

The independent provider has moved ahead of global provider Regus which operates 58,000 square feet in the city. With sites in Bristol Bridge and Bristol Temple Meads, Runway East has a client list which includes Octopus Energy, Deliveroo, Travel Local, Creativity UK and Paymentsense.

“Bristol has the strongest office market growth rate of any UK city outside of London. It’s a superb place to be with an emphasis on renewables and tech whilst offering a good work/life balance. Extremely low vacancy rates and a short supply of high quality serviced offices have led to a strong uptake of employers looking for an operator that reflects their values,” said Natasha Guerra, CEO of Runway East.

“Becoming Bristol’s largest coworking operator is a real accolade for an independent business. It is symbolic of the changing workplace culture and greater demand for employee experience over space – and our mission to destroy boring offices.”

Runway East is a B Corp certified flexible workspace provider, which has been operational since 2014. It was initially a hub for tech entrepreneurs, creating space and facilitating growth and team support. It has now grown to nine spaces, across London, Bristol and Brighton.
