India: Coworking firm Smartworks has leased a 56,000 square feet coworking space in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Smartworks is known to provide flexible coworking spaces for companies. The firm in a statement said it has debuted in Ahmedabad by taking over a space that is more than 50,000 square feet. The property is set to open in March
Ahmedabad is one of the most thriving cities for businesses in Gujarat with demand for new offices growing by 400 per cent to 4.6 million square feet in 2022, from 0.9 million square feet in the previous year. The demand for flexible workspaces in the corporate sector has recently increased. Smartworks has been providing managed office spaces in India, making a strong portfolio of more than seven million square feet.
