Student Roost completes Nelson Place development in Belfast

Northern Ireland: Student accommodation owner and operator, Student Roost, has announced that it has completed a 12-storey development in Belfast.

The development at Nelson Place is due to welcome new students from this September. It was completed by GRAHAM, alongside architect Fletcher Joseph, chartered surveyor Johnson Associates and civil engineering design consultancy firm Etive Consulting.

Featuring 774 en-suite and studio rooms, Nelson Place will also house a new sports centre and wellbeing facilities, including a spin studio and gym, for Ulster University students.

Communal spaces will include everything from a sky lounge overlooking the city of Belfast, a cinema room, study rooms, games room and a bookable hosting kitchen.

Anna Killough, regional operations manager, Belfast, at Student Roost, said: “We’re so pleased to have completed on Nelson Place, the largest student accommodation building in Belfast, which completes our student quarter in the city.

All of the property’s features have been carefully curated to fundamentally support students’ physical and mental wellbeing, setting them up for success personally and academically.
