UK: Grosvenor Britain & Ireland has announced its entry into the flexible working market with a new London property: 25 EP.
25 EP is a new flexible coworking space, located in Belgravia’s Eccleston Yard, that will be open to up to 600 people with an all-inclusive membership.
Charles Howard, director of offices for Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “The pandemic has accelerated demand for agile office space and flexibility from landlords. Across our portfolio, customers of any size can find what they need in some of London’s most popular office locations, close to amenities and transport links.”
The space, which is open 24/7, offers a variety of working options including hot desks, permanent desks, and private offices that can accommodate a range of two to 50 people. Members also have access to a plug and play auditorium, private meeting rooms, and 1GB internet access with a backup line. 25 EP also plans to host events that will allow members to network with one another.
The decoration of the property combines classic elements, such as dark paintwork, with more modern pieces including contemporary lighting and glass office pods.
Membership to the club includes access to fully equipped kitchens with filtered water, coffee machines, refrigerators, and microwaves. 25 EP also offers daily desk-side coffee and tea each afternoon from Monday through Wednesday and desk-side beer and wine on Thursday and Friday.
The facility is dog-friendly, and each new member will receive a dog bowl and bed upon arrival.
The property has a concierge desk and a housekeeping team to assist guests with any problems they may have. All those hired to the 25 EP team, including everyone from front desk to management, were previously employed at five-star hotels in London.
25 EP, as well as other Grosvenor properties, is dedicated to sustainability. The property, which is run by green energy, will put effort into ensuring that it is minimising waste and emissions, while maximising recycling.
Due to the property’s location in Eccleston Yard, the office space is in close proximity to fitness, dining, wellness, and creative spaces, as well as the complex’s courtyard. The walk to the Victoria underground, bus and rail stations is just a few minutes, allowing those who work at 25 EP to easily access other parts of the city as well.
Howard said: “We’ll continue to meet the changing needs of customers and their staff by increasing the range and flexibility of our office spaces and leases. If current demand for 25 EP continues, we will scale this product as we have with concepts like plug and play.”
