US: Coliving provider Eddy has announced its plans to open its third location in East Hollywood.
The new property, which is aimed towards students and people new to the Los Angeles area, includes 40 move-in ready bedrooms, bathrooms, a recording studio, kitchens, and a fitness centre. The property also includes communal spaces to create a community atmosphere.
The coliving space will also include a number of amenities including WIFI, housekeeping, and utilities.
Leases are month-to-month, and rates start at US$700 for a shared room and $1,300 for a private room.
The property is set to open before the start of the 2021-2022 school year to support students in a hybrid school model.
Leeor Maciborski, cofounder of Eddy, said: “We see the future of higher education as more digital, remote and on-demand. However, that structure misses one of the most important parts of college — the social experience.”
Eddy, which is based in Los Angeles, currently operates two other locations in Hollywood.
