UK: Womenโs Super League Football (WSL Football) has chosen flex operator MetSpace for its first office since becoming independent last year, moving from Wembley to Clerkenwell.
The organisation has signed a deal for 2,500 square feet of managed office space at MetSpaceโs 2 Woodbridge Street location in EC1.
This move follows WSL Footballโs rebrand uniting its top two leagues under the WSL Football name and marks the leagueโs first step away from its former Wembley base.
WSL Football said its decision was shaped by the spaceโs ample natural light, multiple meeting rooms, and a flexible layout suited to a fluctuating team presence throughout the week.
The areaโs transport links were also a key factor, with the leagueโs team spread across the UK.
Georgie Acons, head of business management at WSL Football, said: โThis is our first office since setting up as an independent company and marks a significant step in our journey. It enables us to build on the foundations weโve laid for our own identity and culture.
“Moving offices can be daunting for a small team, so having a managed provider like MetSpace to guide and support us has been invaluable. Weโre excited to settle into our new home and continue growing from here.”
Ashley Diamond, chief operating officer at MetSpace, said: “The top flight of womenโs football is going from strength to strength, and finding the right workspace to match the WSLโs needs was crucial. Itโs been a pleasure working closely with the team to provide a space that reflects their ambitions and values.”
The announcement comes during the Womenโs Euros Championship in Switzerland, which began on 2 July, and follows the Premier Leagueโs own office move announced last month.
