UK: Real estate investment company and developer Amro Partners has appointed Paul Clark, a career investor within the global real estate sector with a career spanning 40 years, as a senior adviser.
He was most recently head of real assets Europe at AustraliaSuper, where he oversaw deals including a 50:50 joint venture with British Land to deliver the £3.5 billion Canada Water regeneration project.
He had previously spent 13 years as chief investment officer at The Crown Estate, where he played a central role in repositioning the organisation and delivering long-term sustainable growth.
Alongside his executive career, Clark has also held a wide range of non-executive and industry leadership roles, serving as a board member of Federated Hermes’ Property Unit Trust and contributing to both the Bank of England’s Commercial Property Forum and the BPF’s General Policy Committee.
He is currently serving as a non-exec board member of the King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership and the Canada Water Partnership.
Working alongside Amro Chairman and CEO Raj Kotecha, group president Ami Kotecha and the senior management team, Clark will work to support Amro’s ambition to institutionalise its platform and become a leading force in the Living sector across the UK and Europe.
