Vastint UK appoints Penny Cameron as managing director

UK: Vastint UK has strengthened its senior leadership team with a new managing director.

The IKEA property investment arm has appointed Penny Cameron as its new managing director, joining the business from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW).

Cameron brings more than 30 years’ experience delivering large-scale, mixed-use regeneration and residential-led schemes. She spent almost three years at URW as head of development, where she was responsible for the company’s UK mixed-use development pipeline.

In her new role, Cameron will lead Vastint UK’s nationwide development strategy, overseeing major regeneration projects including Sugar House Island in east London, Aire Park in Leeds and Embankment in Cardiff.

She succeeds Stephen Lindley, who is departing the business after ten years as finance director and three years as managing director.
