UK: Maslow Capital has provided £116.6 million in funds for developer YourTRIBE to build a 609-bed PBSA in north-west London.
Maslow previously secured £114 million financing for YourTRIBE student housing projects in Walthamstow and Greenwich.
Part of a larger scheme including commercial space, amenities will include a gym, cinema, coworking spaces, podcast rooms, games area and dining facilities.
The plan also calls for 12,275 sq ft of commercial space, with the tallest at 27 storeys. HG Construction is the main contractor on the north London project, which has been in development since 2024. Construction is expected to finish in 2028.
Maslow said that there is significant demand for upscale PBSA projects in good locations.
“London’s PBSA market continues to be underpinned by structural demand and a persistent supply gap, particularly for well-located, amenity-rich schemes,” Maslow deal execution leader Rachael Gordon said. “As more projects progress through the Building Safety Act gateways, the ability to structure and execute funding with clarity and pace is increasingly important, and we are pleased to support a scheme that is now underway and targeting delivery in summer 2028.”
