UK: Firethorn has secured Gateway 2 approval for a 284-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project in Stratford, east London.
The scheme will include 35 per cent affordable student accommodation, and is being delivered by McAleer & Rushe. The site on Stratford High Street is close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and will feature shared study, social and fitness amenities, alongside a ground floor community space for public use.
Construction will start imminently with work due to complete in time for the 2028/29 academic year.
