BGO and Stoneweg launch €500m flex living platform in Spain

Spain: BentallGreenOak (BGO) and Stoneweg have launched Welco Living, a flexible accommodation brand backed by a €500 million investment programme aimed at building a major flex living platform across Spain.

The brand will debut with Welco Valdebebas, a 583-unit development in Madrid located next to the future Formula 1 circuit.

The launch builds on a strategic partnership between the two firms and reflects investor confidence in Spain’s flex living market.

Welco Living will offer fully furnished apartments alongside shared amenities including coworking spaces, wellness facilities, social areas and flexible stay options designed to cater to professionals, families, international students and relocated workers.

BGO and Stoneweg said the platform aims to address demand for professionally managed accommodation that responds to changing lifestyles, increased mobility and evolving working patterns.

Madrid has become a key market for the sector, accounting for around 60% of existing flex living stock and more than 70% of the current development pipeline in Spain.

The first asset, Welco Valdebebas, has been developed to BREEAM Excellent standards and has already recorded strong demand from both individual and corporate customers.
