Sweden: Hines has agreed to acquire Konduktören, a 197-home build-to-rent (BTR) development in Veddesta, Stockholm, through a forward-funding agreement with Magnolia Bostad and through Hines European Property Partners (HEPP) fund.
The nine-storey project is being developed by Magnolia Bostad and will include more than 9,000 square metres of residential space and more than 200 square metres of commercial space. It is expected to complete in 2029.
This is Hines’ second residential collaboration with Magnolia Bostad, following a 310-home project in Kista in April 2025.
Konduktören is located opposite a planned metro entrance scheduled to open by the end of 2028, which connects residents to central Stockholm. This project is within the Barkarby urban development area in Järfälla municipality, which intends to bring new housing, community amenities and public transport connections to the area.
