UK: Residential operations platform Host has appointed Stewart Moore as chief executive to support its next phase of growth.
In his new role, Moore will focus on expanding Host’s presence across build-to-rent, coliving (under the Habito brand), and wider residential markets, working with developers and investors to grow the platform.
“Host has been built around the needs of owners and developers who want an operator that genuinely understands the details of running residential assets,” said Moore. “The living sector continues to grow well beyond traditional purpose-built student housing, and there is a significant opportunity in co‑living and multi and single family homes for platforms that can bring operational rigour, brand clarity and real on‑the‑ground experience. We are very much open for business.”
Moore brings more than 20 years’ experience across the UK and European living sectors, including roles in student accommodation, build-to-rent, and multifamily housing.
He previously helped scale CRM Students to more than 26,000 beds before the company’s acquisition by an institutional investor.
