Germany: PRIMESTAR has announced the signing of the June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz, a hotel, extended stay and workspace project in Berlin city centre.

The property will become the new flagship of the June brand with more than 350 keys combining hotel and extended stay concepts, and is scheduled to open in 2028.

This signing follows the opening of June SIX Salzburg in March 2026 and the recent introduction of June Lux as the group’s entry into the luxury segment.

With its “travel.work.live.” ecosystem, PRIMESTAR says it has created a modular and fully integrated offering combining June SIX, June Stay and WorX into a unified guest experience.

The historic listed building is located in the heart of Berlin Friedrichshain near Warschauer Platz S-Bahn station and was originally designed by renowned Berlin city planning officer Ludwig Hoffmann in 1909 as the Higher Weaving School. With its distinctive red-brick façade, large arched windows and ornate details, the landmark building will be transformed into a contemporary urban hotspot while preserving its historic charm. Within the landscaped inner courtyard, an urban oasis with multiple food offerings will be established, further building on the June Green standard established at June Garda Lake.

The project reflects PRIMESTAR’s strategic focus on prime city-centre locations and scalable, modular hospitality concepts tailored to evolving guest needs.

At the core of the project lies “a holistic and fully integrated guest experience that merges hotel, living, and workspace into one cohesive ecosystem”. June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz will bring together boutique hotel rooms, flexible extended-stay units, and WorX workspace environments within a single destination.

This hybrid approach is designed to serve a new generation of travellers and urban users – those who expect “flexibility, community, and multifunctional spaces that adapt seamlessly between travel, work, and living”.

The property will feature open, social areas; curated food & beverage concepts; and community-driven spaces.

Building on PRIMESTAR’s proprietary technology platform, the Berlin flagship will represent the most advanced implementation of the Group’s digital vision to date.

Guests will experience a fully digital and frictionless journey – from booking and WhatsApp-based check-in to AI-powered concierge services and smart in-room functionalities.

Dr. Roland Rausch, chairman and owner of PRIMESTAR Group, said: : “June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz is a defining project for our brand. It demonstrates how our integrated approach can scale in a major European capital while maintaining the flexibility, design focus, and digital innovation that define June. June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz will take the June Hotel experience to the next level.”

Ronald Giese, managing director of PRIMESTAR Group, added: “With this project, we are taking the next logical step in the evolution of our platform. The combination of size, location, and full ecosystem integration allows us to unlock the full potential of June – bringing together hospitality, living, and work in a way that is both highly efficient and future-ready.”
