UK: Aberdeen Investments has put two BTR developments in Leeds and Leicester up for sale, bringing a total of 558 apartments to the market.
The larger of the two assets is Clarendon Quarter in Leeds, which comprises 326 apartments across two buildings on the edge of the city centre. The scheme includes 263 apartments designed to provide affordable housing for essential workers. Residents also have access to amenities including a gym, games room, rooftop terraces and communal lounges.
The second is a property called Queen Street Quarter in Leicester which contains 232 apartments in two buildings, comprising a converted warehouse and a new purpose-built residential block. The development includes a gym, swimming pool, yoga studio, residents’ lounge and more than 100 parking spaces.
Aberdeen Investments is seeking offers above £44.5 million for Clarendon Quarter and £29.5 million for Queen Street Quarter.
Mike Gorman the head of regional residential capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield, which is marketing the buildings, said: “This is a compelling opportunity to acquire two unique assets that offer both scale and diversification across high-performing regional cities.”
There is also the potential for future growth within Queen Street Quarter with space for development of a further 100 residential units.
