UK: Riverdale Developments has acquired a 26-acre site in Surrey with a gross development value of £30 million, securing the land from Wates Developments in a deal brokered by Knight Frank.
The site benefits from detailed planning consent for 38 extra-care and 28 close-care homes, alongside outline approval for a further 98 extra-care units and a 60-bed care home. The acquisition was completed in partnership with Searls Land and Pyxis Land.
The development forms part of a wider strategy to expand residential and care-led schemes across the South East, with further details expected to be announced in due course.
The transaction follows Wates’ recent planning submission for a 248-home scheme in Guildford, underlining continued activity in the region’s residential development market.
