UK: Fresh has been appointed by Ropemaker to manage two purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) developments in Edinburgh, expanding the companies’ existing partnership.
The appointment includes Meadow Court and Norton’s Student Living, a combined site with 297 student rooms in en-suite bedrooms, cluster flats, townhouses and studio apartments.
With 148 units, Meadow Court features shared study and social areas, study pods and a courtyard. Norton’s Student Living boasts 149 units and amenities such as study spaces, shared lounges, a games room, cinema room, a gym and private rooftop dining room.
Sam Scott, managing director of Fresh, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding both our partnership with Ropemaker and our presence in Scotland with Fresh’s appointment to operate Meadow Court and Norton’s Student Living.”
The appointment builds on Fresh’s existing relationship with Ropemaker. The company already manages The Gorge, a coliving development in Exeter, and Verse, a build-to-rent scheme in Cardiff, on Ropemaker’s behalf.
The new management contracts will enhance its footprint in Scotland and extend its portfolio through the PBSA sector, said Fresh.
The company will manage the day to day running of the two Edinburgh properties and will be continuing to support the resident experience at both sites.
