Galen Halasz is an editorial intern at IHM. He is a creative writing and music double major at St. Lawrence University, where he has participated and taken leadership roles in multiple organisations, including as editor for The Hill News, member of multiple clubs and music ensembles, and athlete on the varsity cross country and track & field team. He has worked as a full-responsibility news reporter for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise and as a summer program manager for the non-profit Adirondack Center for Writing. He is currently working on his debut novel, which he hopes to publish within the next two years. Hailing from Saranac Lake, New York, Galen enjoys intellectual conversations, any kind of outdoor adventure, and following multiple sports (global football, biathlon, nordic skiing, cross country running) in his free time.
