Dominvs Group appoints Sean Ellis as non-exec

UK: London-based real estate investor and developer Dominvs Group has appointed Sean Ellis, the former executive director of The Berkeley Group Plc, to its board as a non-executive director. 

Ellis will advise Dominvs on land and planning, strategy, operational efficiency and governance, and forming new joint ventures, as thegGroup continues to expand its £2.4 billion pipeline across the PBSA, residential, retail, and hotels sectors.

Dominvs Group formed a £50 million residential joint venture with Yorkshire County Properties in 2021. Ellis will provide strategic counsel to Dominvs on future JV opportunities across the residential sector.

Ellis, who served on the board of The Berkeley Group from 2010 to 2021, was also chair of the St. James Group, Berkeley Homes Eastern Counties, and St. William, the former joint venture with National Grid.

Ellis is the third senior non-executive director to be appointed to the Dominvs board, following the appointments of former CEO of Travis Perkins Properties Martin Meech, and Martin Samworth, the former chair and CEO of CBRE’s Advisory business in APAC and EMEA, earlier this year.
