UK: Architecture firm HTA Design and developer Tide have finished construction on a 32-storey modular building in North Acton.

Operated by Outpost Management, the bronze- and white-panelled building houses 462 studio apartments which average 22.5 square meters. Amenities include a rooftop terrace and communal sunrooms as well as workspace, podcast and music studios and communal cooking.

Enclave: Acton also offers recreation such as a games area, karaoke space and screening room. Fitness amenities include a gym, spa, golf simulator and a small sport court.

A pub stands on the ground-floor of the co-living space with a function room above, replacing Castle Pub which previously occupied the site.

Enclave: Acton is the second volumetric modular tower in London designed by HTA for Tide, and their thirteenth venture overall.

“By reinstating the pub and introducing a first-floor public function room with independent access, Enclave: Acton strengthens its role as a community hub,” HTA Design partner Simon Toplis said. “Above the pub, we transformed a challenging site through our expertise in co-living design, delivering a distinctive triangulated plan that integrates shared amenities with varied home layouts. The glazed brick references historic pubs while creating a cohesive architectural identity that celebrates this prominent corner site.”
