UK: London developer Regal has become part of Arada following the acquisition of a strategic stake in the business. The operation will now trade as Arada London.
As part of the deal, Arada is committing an initial £500 million to support and accelerate the residential-led pipeline across the capital.
The partnership aims to add scale, financial strength, and international expertise to Regal’s integrated model spanning planning, construction, and delivery.
Jonathan Seal, CEO at Regal, said: “Working alongside Arada’s team, bringing together our shared focus on smart, innovative design, bold architecture, and thoughtful use of space, we can go further. Together we can explore new ideas, sectors, and approaches that deliver both great, sustainable homes and vibrant, well-considered healthy environments for residents and visitors.”
The company aims to more than triple its current pipeline to over 30,000 units within three years, delivering high-quality, amenity-rich places across London and addressing the urgent need for new housing supply.
Seal added: “As Arada London, we look forward to continuing our success of the last thirty years in shaping the skyline of the capital.”
The transaction underscores both Regal and Arada’s ambition to create large-scale, sustainable urban developments while bringing additional international expertise to London’s residential market.
